Learn the basics of crochet! Practice and graduate to making the pattern of your choice! You’ll leave knowing how to pick your crochet needle, what gauge is, & how to make chains. After you’ve gotten the hand of it, we’ll guide you in picking a project to work on. Every time you come in, continue working on your project in a guided instructed environment.
This is an intergenerational biweekly crochet lesson that adapts to wherever you are in your learning process. Whether you have never held a crochet needle before or want to get some help in getting the right knot for your project.

Summer Art Camp by Ms. Rathi V. / Curso Veraniego de Arte con Srta. Rathi V. (age/edad 4-7)
Ms. Rathi is excited to lead a 4 day art camp (11am every day from August 25 - August 28) involving art, movement, and mindfulness. In each 1 hour session, we will learn about different elements of art through examples found in our surroundings, in nature, and in the work of artists. We will then create our own artwork that explores and demonstrates that element.

Join us for a creative evening of collage, memories, and messy art at Art Retail Therapy. Led by illustrator, artist and expert junk journaler, Liz of Studio Lizzy. Liz does an excellent job of sourcing and curating scrapbooking items. You will learn how to best position and combine a spread.
Bring your own journal & we’ll provide the supplies! There will be specialty scrapbooking packs available for purchase in case you want to add more or take some home to practice. Bring any treasured memories you want to include in your creation.

Returning students can continue practicing skills or carrying on with a project in a guided and instructed environment. Bilingual English and Spanish
Learn the basics of crochet! Practice and graduate to making the pattern of your choice! You’ll leave knowing how to pick your crochet needle, what gauge is, & how to make chains. After you’ve gotten the hand of it, we’ll guide you in picking a project to work on. Every time you come in, continue working on your project in a guided instructed environment.
This is an intergenerational biweekly crochet lesson that adapts to wherever you are in your learning process. Whether you have never held a crochet needle before or want to get some help in getting the right knot for your project.

Cyanotype Workshop Sundays (Part 1 of our Summer Photo Series) - for adults & Teens
Damaris will be teaching you the origins of people wanting to capture images via cyanotype. You will learn how to compose a piece, how to properly develop it and then process it for your final piece. You will get to play with three different options and experiment between takes. We will then introduce different ways of intervening and manipulating your cyanotypes for a mixed media art piece.
Damaris will be leading a series of photo and print-based workshops in the summer.
this workshop has all materials included, just show up and bring any treasures you’d like to capture in the sunlight.

Plaster & Paint: Texture Explorers (Ages 5–14)
Two sessions: 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM
Young artists discover how texture and color work together to make art that looks and feels alive. In this hands-on class, kids learn plaster techniques to create raised patterns to paint over and around their textures to create depth and playful effects. Mix safe, non-toxic plaster, experiment with tools and found objects, layer paint, and create a textured panel to take home.
