Holding Hands with our Crochet Class Sister, this is an embroidery basics workshop to learn the most used stitches, learn how to learn the needle and hoop, make mistakes and then focus on a pattern to recreate and work on during our biweekly fiber nights. $25 includes all materials.

Working from a live model with guided instruction from teachers, you will learn about proportion, gesture, movement, and perspective. Working in charcoal and graphite, we move from short poses for sketches to long poses for complete, finished drawings. Whether you want to focus on drawing or are looking to develop your skills as a painter, figure drawing is the classical way to develop skills that positively impact many art practices.
Trabajando con un modelx en vivo, estaran guiados con instrucciones del instructor mientras aprenden de las propociones, gestos, ritmo, y perspectiva. Trabajaremos en carboncillo y grafito con poses cortas para practicar y largas para completar su propio dibujo. In-person gathering of fibers crafters of all types. Anyone who is a fiber crafter (whether new or experienced) should join: knitting, crochet, needlepoint, felting, hand quilting, etc. We gather one evening a month to work on individual projects in a parallel environment. Visualizing Hope - A Mindful Embroidery Workshop (for adults and teens)
Hope and connection are some of the most useful tools in our fight against rising fascism. Join our friend, Sunaina, in a mindful embroidery workshop inspired by the slow-stitching movement. Together we will learn 2-3 stitches and embark on a shared meditation on the shape of hope within our minds. This workshop focuses on the importance of process over production; inviting participants to connect with the current moment and the wellspring of hope within themselves.
